Mission:

ARC's mission is to provide value to our clients.

This may sound like it should be a given. But compared to an organization whose stated mission is to provide value to the shareholders (and there are many with this philosophy), we believe that our approach can make a critical difference that manifests itself in every aspect of how a client is treated.

Objectives:

ARC’s primary objectives in providing benefits administration services are:

  1. To help clients manage risk by protecting them from regulatory inquiry and from potential litigation
  2. To remove clients from the middle of the administration process

We accomplish our first objective through strict adherence to applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, intensive employee training, and rigorous documentation of procedures and incident-specific information. We believe that this commitment distinguishes ARC in the marketplace. We pledge to our clients that we will not compromise our commitment to this objective.

The second objective is a natural outgrowth of the first objective. It is easy for in-house administrative personnel to become emotionally involved with decisions that affect their co-workers or former employees. This can sometimes make the application of the statutory or regulatory requirements for COBRA extremely difficult. By removing the in-house administrative personnel from the equation, ARC is able to apply the correct requirements uniformly in all similar situations. This not only allows our clients to re-direct their internal resources to activities that more directly contribute to their bottom line, it also helps to protect the client from the risk of potential liability.
